Payments made on our website are securely processed through the Square payment system which is compliant with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

Square payments are encrypted to protect from hackers. The Square payment system is designed and maintained by Square. Payments are secure out of the box with no lengthy setup. All card-present payments are encrypted from end to end.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Refund Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

You must contact us to discuss your reason for requesting a refund so we understand your concerns and can ensure the problem is rectified if necessary.

Additional non-returnable items:

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

You must request a refund within 30 days of purchase.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange an item for an alternative item for the same value, send us an email at margo@rainforestheart.com.au and post your item to: 611 Brooks Rd, MUNGALLI, QLD, 4886, Australia.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 611 Brooks Rd, MUNGALLI, QLD, 4886, Australia.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping Policy

We will endeavour to ensure that your order is processed within 2-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification with tracking information when your order has been dispatched. Delivery times will be dependant on Australia Post postal schedules for your destination.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

We have flat rate shipping charges for various items on our Shop and these are displayed at the checkout. These rates range from a flat $15 rate for multiple light weight items, to a specific flat rate fee for each of the wine purchase options (1 bottle, 6 bottles or 12 bottles).

Local delivery

We offer free local delivery for orders within the Tablelands Regional Council area.                      Contact us prior to placing your order, to confirm your address and gain a ‘local delivery’ coupon to use when placing your order. Local deliveries are made by arrangement.                      We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout, to confirm the day, time and place for your delivery.

International Shipping

Contact us before placing your order to confirm the shipping charges for international delivery addresses.  Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Rainforest Heart is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.  If you haven’t received your order within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@rainforestheart.com.au with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.      In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at info@rainforestheart.com.au with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
